My soul will sing...

"I will bless the Lord at all time; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad.  

Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together! 

 I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.  Those who look to the Lord are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.  

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.  The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.  

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!  Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!  

Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints, for those who fear Him have no lack."  - Psalm 34:1-9

It's rolling off my fingertips.

Sometimes it is hard to write down exactly what you are feeling and thinking.
Sometimes I wish that I could just make the words in my head come out onto the page.
Sometimes I think it would be nice if the screen could read my mind.
Sometimes...

Today, I am thankful.
Thankful for salvation in Jesus Christ.
Thankful for His faithfulness in my life.
Thankful that God is working all things in my life to bring about His ultimate glory.
Thankful that life is not about me.
Thankful that life does not change because of my choices.
Thankful that God is completely sovereign.
Thankful that my sin, all of it, is forgiven.
Thankful for time to spend in the Word.
Thankful for the Holy Spirit and His work to make me more like Christ.

And for the "little" things...

Thankful for life.
Thankful for Saturdays.
Thankful for family.
Thankful for friends.
Thankful for warm blankets and a cozy cup of coffee.
Thankful for creative ideas and projects to work on.
Thankful for books to read.
Thankful for sunshine.
Thankful for healthy bodies to run around with.
