February 4th: skiing

My piece of happiness today consisted of riding down a snow covered slope with two thin board-like things strapped to my feet. Skiing in February is usually a good time to experience the slopes.

However, we haven't had ANY snow to speak of all winter, and it had been raining the day before.

I was expecting a soup-pot of slushiness. But I was pleasantly surprised with the conditions of the slopes. Yes, they were a little sloppy, but not enough to hinder my intermediate level of skiing.

Crazy?! Absolutely not...:)

Happy?! I say, Yes!!!
