February 10th: an epic Scavenger hunt

It is the time of year at Calvary Bible College when the freshmen class sponsor the "Winter Social"! Since this is my first(ish) year at Calvary, it was also my first "Winter Social". It was super fun and the freshmen did a great job putting this event on.

The evening definitely lived up to it's title:

Winter: it was VERY Cold! The wind was freezing. It was certainly the type that just seems to blow right through you.

Social: not only was it a "social" time in the cars (it was a picture scavenger hunt around Belton), but we also enjoyed the social time afterwards around cups of Hot Chocolate and pieces of delicious pie!!!

Basically, we rocked the whole thing (even though we didn't technically "win", we had loads of fun.) But Jesica and I decided that while scavenger hunts are fun, they can also be really stressful. Yet, if you are just aiming to have fun and not kill anyone, it doesn't have to be stressful...:)
